Company Introduction:

ASCO, a privately owned and independent Belgian company, began operations as a private subcontractor in 1954. The aeronautics division started in 1979 and is currently the only group active. Position is Located in Stillwater, OK

Position Summary

Responsible for managing the material flows, both internal and external to support the overall Asco production schedule. Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the aerospace industry is a plus.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Order Management:

  • Creation, monitoring and execution of the MRP (Material Requirements Plan)
    • Manage order generation
    • Purchase Order & Manufacturing Order follow-up
    • Target 100% Customer Order fulfillment
    • Interface with Production for spotting and resolving work center capacity issues
  • Manage master supply chain data in the Mapics ERP system
  • Analyze and initiate opportunities for process and flow improvements, internal and external
  • Interface with logistics partners when required
  • Monitor and improve internal customer satisfaction in close collaboration with the other functions of the company
  • Follow-up customer orders and sales forecasts
  • Being actively involved in the Non-Conformity and Customer Return process

 

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering or related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.

Skills / Experience:

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills and the ability to work well with others in a team-based environment.
  • Able to handle multiple complex activities at once
  • Independent and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Takes initiative and displays a pro-active no-nonsense attitude
  • Sound knowledge of MRP concepts,
  • ERP experience. Experience with Mapics as a user is a plus
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, or equivalent software.       Must be computer literate.
  • Experience in materials management is a plus
  • APICS is a plus
  • Ability to work any continuous or fixed schedule, possibly including an excessive number of hours (10-12) in a single work day depending on business needs.
  • Must be currently eligible/authorized to work in the United States
